DR. MARR THE STAR DIVIDES THE HONORS WITH C. B. HUDSON AND MAKES THE BEST SCORE OF THE DAY Kelley and McDonald Land Second Place in Tin Whistle Four Ball Match WITH a net score of 71 Dr. Myron Marr of the Wood land Club travelled the Number One Course on Wednes day last a clear hole at least ahead of any com petitor, and together with a very satisfactory 80 handed in by his running mate C. B. Hudson of North Fork, won first place and the pick of the prizes for the week. The occasion was a four "ball combined score event, the weekly tournament of the ancient Tin Whistles. There was nobody around to question the outcome with Marr and Hudson, whose total of 151 was ten strokes the better of the .field which came in fighting the second place to a fin- 1 Dr. M. W. Mc Donald of Lambton with a com bined showing of 161 took the second prize from John E. Pushee and W. E. Truesdell of Fox Hills by the margin of a single shot. By the rules of the game this left Pushee still in the prize winning class. For there were three prizes, first place, second place, and the best net score. Well, it is also a fair ruling that no fellow can have two of these at once. Consequently Marr, who got first place, and Kelley, who got second, could not register their 71 and 77 for the best net, and so it fell to Pushee, who had a very excellent 78 to his credit.
