The local experts are still making a better story of it than any journalist has the nerve to try, and small boys are dream ing of impossible hits for forty miles around. The veterans of more serious shooting affairs were to be seen mingled with the gay parties from the cottages, and the sheriff was on hand to lend an historic flavor with the ancient ordnance popular an era since on the headwaters of Drowning Creek.
