played on the morning of each day, four
divisions of eight to qualify. Gold
medal for best qualification score.
Championship Trophy to winner of first
eight; Governors' Trophy to winner of
second eight; Secretary's Trophy to
winner of third eight, and Treasurer's
Trophy to winner of fourth eight, and
sterling trophies to the runners-up and
consoation division winners in each division.
Nineteenth Annual United North and
South Open Championship (March 28,
29) Seventy-two hole medal play; ama
teur winning first prize to receive a tro
phy. First prize for professionals
$300; second prize $200; third, $150;
fourth, $100; fifth, $75; sixth, $60;

MISS GRACE L. PIERSON
of Brooklyn, outshot the field in the
rifle contest for women, held last week,
and was awarded the prize, on Satur
day, for a winning target of 133 out of
a possible 150, Mrs. J. R. Brady, an
other contestant was second, at 129.
MRS. J. L. WELLER
won the weekly putting contest on Sat
urday last, on -the play off of a tie, at
24, among Mrs. Weller, Mrs. R. C,
Blancke and Mrs. J. H. Ingersoll.
