ANNUAL MIXED FOURSOMES A Field of 88 Take Part in the Silver Foils Mixed Foursomes. JVliss Chandler and Sidney Sharwood Win the Low Gross and Tie with Mr. and Mrs. Danforth for the Class A prize. Mrs. L. E. Beall and Ned Beall Win in Class B. A field of 88 players, divided in two handicap classes of 22 teams each, took part in the Silver Foils annual Mixed Foursomes Tournament on Sat urday. Miss Eleanor T. Chandler and Sid ney Sharwood went over the Number Course in 82 alternate strokes and won the low gross honors and prizes by a margin of 5 strokes on the field. Tliti pair also tied for the best net at 82-1, 81, with Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Dan forth, 91-10, 81, and when we went to press, the winning team had not been determined. The opposing couples tried to settle the matter some days ago, but the only result was a second tie, which happened when Miss Chan dler and Sharwood went down on tut eighteenth in 3. Mrs. L. E. Beall and Ned Beall went around in 90, in Class B, and won the prizes wtih a net score of 90-13, 77. Mr. and Mrs. E. L.
