Five men of the more than sixty entrants in the sixth an nual tournament broke ninety, and one of them within two years of the alloted age to man—George. W. Statzell, of the Aronimink Club, Philadelphia, went around the No. 3 course in a brilliant 83, being three strokes under his nearest comj petitor. The youngest of the five mien to score under 90 has passed the three-score year mark, while the medalist is the oldest of the quintet. The oldest man in the tournament was Robert Foote, of New Haven, 75 years young. Here is the list of honor competitors, who broke 90, to gether with their scores: George W.
