Captain Lash—A Fox production starring Victjor McLaglin, well
known for his splendid work in WhatPrice Glory. The story has its
origin and setting in the east. Clyde Cook and Arthur Stone take care of
the comedy situations, and Claire Windsor and Jane Wilton compose an
admirable supporting cast. At the Carolina Theatre, Friday, January
25th.
A Single Man—The latest vehicle released by the Metro-Goldwyn
Mayer Studios costarring Lew Cody and Aileen Pringle in an adaptation
of the noted stage play which John Drew and Mary Bolan appeared in
at the Empire Theatre in New York City in 1911. An all star cast,
including Marceline Day, Edward Nugent and Kathlyn Williams furnish
admirable support to these popular screen stars.
As a bachelor novelist who makes a belated quest for romance, Lew
Cody scores in a new characterization, a striking departure from his usual
