came the bride of William How
ard Edwards of Ahoskie.
The bride is the daughter of
the late Mrs. Bertha Garris of
Conway. The bridegroom is the
son of Mr, and Mrs, W, R, Ed
wards of Ahoskie,
The bride was given in mar
riage by her brother, W, H.
Blowe,
Matron of honor was Mrs. Bill
Robinson, sister of the bride
groom, of Winston-Salem.
Bridesmaids were Cindy Liver-
man of Ahoskie and ShirleyMor-
ris of Aulander.
Mrs. J, J. Rhea, sister of the
bridegroom, was mistress of
ceremony.
The bridegroom’s brother,
Whit Edwards, served as best
man. Ushers were Bill Robin
son of Winston-Salem, Clarence
Greene of Ahoskie, Mike Lassiter
and Ray Rawls of Aulander.
Flower girl was Sandy Blowe,
niece of the bride, and ring-
bearer was Douglas Blowe,
nephew of the bride.
Music was provided by James
Farmer of Aulander, soloist, and
Royce Overton of Ahoskie,
pianist.
The bride is a graduate of
Ahoskie High School and is em
ployed by Kellwood Corp, The
bridegroom is a graduate of
Ahoskie High School and is em
ployed by Ahoskie Tire Service,
