The bride wore a beautiful wed ding gown of heavy white satin hand-embroidered and elaborately trimmed in pearls. The long train fell from the shoulders and was embrodered in pearls. The bodice was fasioncd of satin and embroid ereu emtton. Her tulle veil was worn with a coronet of orange blos soms. She carried a shower bou quet of swansonia and maiden hair ferns. The dame of honor wore orchid taffeta trimmed in silver. The bridesmaid wore jade taffeta trim med in gold lace. Each carried unn bouquet of yellow chrysanthe mums. The ringbearer wore a white satin suit and carried the ring in a white chrysanthemum. A charming reception followed in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Futch and the wedding guests The dining room was elaborately decorated in white und yellow chrysanthemums. Many handsome wedding gifts, including two chests of silver, were displayed in the library. Mr. and Mrs. Futch left for a trip to New York, after which they will be at home at the Joffrey hotel in Monroe. Mrs. Futch is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. V. P. Covington both prominent in Richmond coun ty. She was educated at Queens college in this city and is a bright and accomplished young woman She has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Springs for the past eight years and has been teaching at the Y. W. C. A. for the past several years. Mrs. Futch is a young wo man of much personal charm and is admired by a host of friends throughout the state. Mr. tutch is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Futch of Monroe, the former one of Monroe's leading citizens. He is engaged in the wholesale grocery business with his father and is a successful and pop ular young man. Out of town guests at the wed ding were Dr. and Mrs. B. F. Mc Leod and little son, Benjamin F., Jr., of Clio, S. C, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Futch, Sr., and daughters, Misses Callie and Mary Futch, and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Futch, Jr., of Monroe; Mrs. W. P. Covington of Rocking ham; Miss Nancy Wall of Lilesville; Airs. J.
