Theforegoing tells tersely the result of the Democratic pri mary held last Saturday, June 3rd, 1922. It shows that while W 'ErBrock for Judge carried Richmond county by majority, and carried five of the six counties of the district, still the big majority Mr. A. M. S(ck received in Union county was enough to overbal ance the Brock majorities and cause Mr. Stack to win by 286. Don Phillips made a fine run for Solicitor and it is likely that he will be the nominee. He received about 7900 votes, to about 4200 for Russell, 3700 for Nash and 1400 for Tarlton. Mr. G. H. Russell has the privilege of asking for a second primary, but up to the time Of going to press the Post-Dispatch has been unable to learn whether or not he will run again. He made a strong fight, arid is a good man, but the huge majority of Mr. Phillips will prob ably preclude his attempting a second primary. In Richmond county Phillips received 1832, to 1356 for Nash, 613 for Russell and 117 for Tarlton. In Scotland county Phillips had a lead over Rus (Continued on page eight) Much Local News. The Post-Dispatch makes a specialty of Richmond county and local news. The majority of our readers take daily papers and keep up in a measure with the state and world events; and so this paper tries to cover the local neia as ctose as possible. A glance through these eight pages show you a well balanced local paper. By the way, is there an X mark across your paper? If there is, you may know you are in arrears on your subscription. How about paying up? Tomorrow The man who thinks of tomor rowof his future comfort of the protection of his family insures his property today. If it burns it will not break him. The insurance company pays the damage. Today The one who thinks only of to day who considers only the slight expense of the moment -who forgets the future security of his family does not insure. When the property burns it criples him or wipes him out completely. Let us quote you low prices on a policy RICHMOND INSURANCE & REALTY COMPANY A. G.
