Allen, the following reso lution was adopted: That Wherens, a petition has been presented to the Board of Commis sioners of the Town of Rocking-h.-mi hv (ho residents and nroDcrtv owners of Robinson, Everett, Han cock and Lawrence streets request ing said Board to pave with some Hiitable permanent pavement, the bdid Rohiusuii street from Randolph street to the pavement near Rockingham Railroad, New street, Everett street from Randolph street to New street, Hancock street from Washington street to the southern property line of tlie County Jail lot. Lawrence street from Washington to Franklin street, which said petition bus been duly Hied with the Clerk and by him certified to the Board of Com missioners as having been signed by a majority in number of owners who represented a majority of all the lineal feet of frontage of the lands abutting upon the streets pro posed to be improved, and the said petition and certificate having been received and examined by the Roan) of Commissioners, and the suffic iency thereof having been found and- duly declared by said Board: Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, by the. Board of Commissioners of the Town of Rockingham, That the petition for the said local improve ment of Robinson, Everett, Han cock and Lawrence streets, within the limits above set forth, be and the same is hereby granted, and that the said Robinson, Everett, Hancock and Lawrence streets, within the limits aforesaid, shall be paved with what is known as sheet asphalt pavement, same to consist of 1:3:G concrete base, 5 inches thick, 1 inch binder course, and Ha inch wearing course, the said three-inch wearing course to be sheet asphalt; the curbs and gut ters shall bo of the combination type, consisting of one course con crete 1:2:4 mixture, dimensions con forming to those given in the Plans of Construction submitted by Mees & Mees, Civil Engineers, or they may consist of two course concrete. base course being l:lV:o mixture, with finished face or wearing cotiiw" concrete mortar 1:2 mixt'ir Yz inch thick.
