The woman beCame enraged at hef step-child, a little girl-of 10 years, and after beating her tied her in a corn sack and suspended her to a limb oi a tree. She then made a fire beneath the tree and piled on a lot of paper to Intensify the heat and smoke. The sack caught fire and the bony, falling out, burned to a crisp. ' Case Goes to Lexington County.
