And it is not always the big things, the most difficult. that a person can do that will eoUnt most in maintaining health, but it's the little daily habits and careless customs that count most, either for or against health. For instance: One can keep their fingers out 0f their nose and mouth and teach their children tha same. When one coughs, he can always turn his head and use his hand- kerchief after having time to reach it. One can wash his hands before meals for his own protect ion and after meals for the pro tection of others. One can avoid close proximity with other per sons who are coughing and sneei ing and thus avoid a cold for him self. In short, one can practice personal cleanliness in addition to the regular soap and water clean liness and greatly decrease his chances against diseases. Baptist Onrck ETtry-KtssW-Caaratt The annual every member can vass of the Baptist Church will take place Sunday afternoon from two to five o'clock. The details of the Canvass are about complet ed, and the large committee of forty-two art hopetul for cheer ful and ready responses. All who have been giving on the weekly basis, during the last year, have found it easier and more satis factory in every way to make their offering weekly. Every member of the church is urgently requested to be present next Sunday morning. A special consecration service will be held. The committee will occupy the front seats. At ISO o'clock the committee will reassemble at the church for special prayers, and then go out to visit the member ship. On account of this canvass the monthly meeting of the Ladie's Aid Society will be post poned one week. The Junior and Senior a Y. P. The new church building, which has been designed by one of America's most prominent architects, when completed will be one of tne community's most attractive churches. Keeter, Sunday morning at six o'clock, in the presence of members of the family and a few friends. They left soon after the ceremony for Richmond and Washington, D. C, and will be at home to their friends in South Weldon after the 15th. Mr, Collins is a popular business man of South Weldon, and his bride is a pretty and attractive young lady.
