A. Martin visited at Mr. W. C. Martin's Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Johnson spent Sunday with relatives. Messrs. Richard Crisp and Obed Anthony called on Mr. Wade Gass, Sunday. ? Mr. W. F. Brown and son, Glen, of Kavensford, attended Sunday School at Shoal Creek Sunday. Mr. Thos. Allen has returned from a few weeks stay in Winston-Salem. Mr. and Mrs. Lylc Turpin are visiting at Mr. W. By order of the County Board of Education at its regular jiieeting 011 July 2nd, a county wide meeting of the school committee was ordered to be held with the County Board of Education 011 Saturday July 21, be ginning at 9:30 o'clock. . This call is in accordance with Act. 6, Sec. 73-a of the new school law of 1923. Its purpose is to re organize the county school system by redistricting and consolidation j so that a more advantageous school system may be worked out. All committeemen are urged to be present at this meeting so that the board may have the benefit of their views. After this meeting no changes j can be made under the lav/ except in accordance withj this 'county Iwide plan.
