C. llongh, don ned their hiking suits and set oiit for a picnic at the Dills Mine. On the way up, the party stopped at the Dills' residence, where they en joyed immensley an abundant sup ply /of apples and chestnuts. Alter a short rest the hike was resumed. The girls and boys roamed the cave from one entrance t?> the otchr all the time making unearthly sounds which lent an exciting and ghost like atmosphere. Pictures were takeii of the whole crowd. After a brisk walk through the forest, they returned to the cave and built a cam]) (ire. A least ol roast f.' winnies", sandwiches and pickles was enjoyed. Mr.and Mrs. Queen left immediate ly alter the wedding for a short automobile trip, alter which they will live in their home which is just being completed. v Mr. Queen is a prominent youn?i business man of Syha, being the proprietor of the Army Goods Store, here, and is- popular among a large >ircle of friends. Mrs. Queen is the neiee of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scott, and by her sweet ness of disposition and charm of manner has made many friends during lier residence in Sylva, hay ing come here, from (J rand Rapids, Mich., four or five years ago. -o ? MeClellan, Jr., Rector of St. Andrew's Episco pal church in Canton, will conducf the services ;it St. David's Episco pal church in Cullowhee next 'Sun day morning at 10 and 11:15 A.
