DEAG GIRL LEAVES STRANGE LETTER On Jane 6, Miss Minnie Crawford a deaf and dumb Jackson connty girl, departed this life, at the age of * 19 years and 11 months. She was a , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hamu Crawford. Qn June 8, the funeral was conducted by Rev. Ben Cook. After the death of the girl, the following letter was found by rela tives among her effects, and they request that it be published. . "I must be a happy theq obey Jes us what he spoken to me many news that he make me ready for his com ing and a judgment day and want me to meet Him at Bridegroom that in a morning some day. Hope Jesus will take me and my chum, Ora Belle Fowler to shout and singing up on a white throne around the skies of God. God and Jesus are letting angels aloud the ringing and calling all the people come to Jesus, and that a judgment day. Yes, I'm going to tell everybody ready for Jesus. Oh brother! if they come here. I'm glad that Jesus prepare a summons death for me. I hope I will reaching home in heaven safely. I thank Jesus very much that Jesus washed me a white soul as snow. I'm in Jesus arms every day that He is a sweetly spirit. I think Qod is going to make me and Ora Belle Fowler a beautiful wing in heaven some day. Hope Ora an(j I will meet Jesus at the pearly gate an<j singing forever. I am going to every beautiful places and sing with Ora Belle Fowler in heaven and live with Jesus forever. I think of beautiful angels up in the skies wita God and they sing sweetly and pretty talk. I thanked Jesus' kindness for h is foing to give, me a white robe bnd white shoes on my feet and crown me I'm happy to be with Jesus always for he wants me to come to Him, and talk together about home in heaven that I must gla^ then obey Jesus what He said to me. Hughes motor-, ed to Asheville. Quite a number of Qualla folus went to Sylva Saturday. Mrs. Dfewey Ensley of Beta visited at Mr. W. W. Anthony's. Mr. J. 0. Terrell who has been teaching at Clayton for several months has returned home. Mr. Garland Oxner made a trip to Brysoit Mr. J. L. Sitton and family and Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Shuler motored to Bryson to visit relatives. Mesdames J. E. Battle, W. F. Bat tle and J. Another insect pest, the wheat stein worm, has been found in Stanley county. This pest may be controlled by plowing un^der the stubble soon after harvesting the crop.
