Rev. J. L. Rogers preached at the
Baptist church Sunday morning. He

large audience at Hyatt's Chapel
Sunday evening, where revival serv
ices have been in progress for the
past week, conducted by Rev. J.L.
Hyatt and Rev. Geo. Snyder. The
meeting seems to be growing in in
terest and attendance.
One of the most severe wind storms
that has visited lower Jackson in
many years came from a north east
erly direction and crossed) Qualln
section about 11 o'clock J Saturday
night,- uprooting or breaking down
ninny trees, scattering many hay
stacks, damaging corn crops and un
roofing a few buildings. The wind
was accompanied by thunder, light
ning, rain and hail.
