BALSAM (By Gertrude Ruskin) A big Carolina moon sailed up into the sky from behinc "Grassy Ridge,"' around midnight last week and the young people took a midnight stroll It must have been thrilling foi the night was as bright as the sunshine looking through smoked blasses. Mr. George Knight and familj recently camped out over nighl on Jones Knob, a mountain peak out here that is just 20( feet less than Mt. Mitchell. He says there is a flat grassy place that the natives call "Big Stomp' to camp on and that there is a nice spring close by. George wants to take some of the rest ol us up there over-night. He says there is a wonderful view from Jones Knob. I've a notion to help George get up a party for 3 hear he can tell some tall panther tales around the evening campfire.
