Any white person in Haywood County niy enter except members of the firms engaged in
the contest, their employes or any one relafOto any member of any of the firms as closely
as first cousin.
2. Votes will be given 1,000 for each $1.00 traded at any of the places or paid on account ex
cept at the Waynesville Courier whichjwill give 5,000 votes for each $1.00. There will be
absolutely no change made in number of votes given.
3. Votes will be deposited to the credit of contestants at the Chautauqua Drug Store and a week
ly announcement of the standing of contestants will be made.
4. Special prizes for limited periods willbe awarded by the several firms from time to time.
