Correspondence of the Leader. Chafin. Association has come and pone, and left its many pleasant recollections to cheer us in after days. The young people enjoyed it immensely and we older ones enjoyed it much also, but in a different way. Mr. J. R. Wilson's daughter, Sarah, is quite sick with fever. Mr. S. R. Patterson has returned from Lillington, where he has been making his home the past year. Every body is glad to welcome him home agaiu. Miss Ada L. Wicker, who has ben visiting her Aunt, Mrs. Brown, at Chafin, departed for home yesterday. All were delighted at her visit. Hope she will favor us with another visit in the near future. Miss Mary E. Patterson, who has been visiting friends at Buie Greek, returned yesterday. Mr. S. M. Page has returned, and will open his school to-day. Mrs. Floyd's son, H., broke his arm by falling from a a fence last Thurs day, but is doing well at present. Bingham School. Mr. Enixon : News is very scarce. Wheat and oats are looking well now, and the farmers are in good heart, as they are looking forward to a happy time when they will have their garners filled.
