When the train rolled into Hicko ry Tuesday there were hundreds of enthusiastic voters of both parties waiting to gre» t their respective can didates. The M. O. Band was in position, playing an inspiring cam paign selection, and when the train stopped every man was looking for his favorite candidate The Demo crats soon had Judge Fowle in a car riage, but Col. Pockety not to be found—by those who knew him. It was soon known that he had not arrived but that Mr. Sanderlin had. and immediate seatch was instituted among t' e crowd for him.
