Lei's iear your electric bill to pieces Go ahead, lady—tear your electric bill apart and see what it’s all about. This little piece lights all your lamps. This one plays j your radios. This cools and keeps your food. This washes j your clothes. This takes care of the cooking and ironing I and cleaning. And so on. That’S a lot of different jobs to be covered by one small bill. < 1 And—hold tin! You’ve paid for more than just electric ity. About 25C of every dollar you pay for electric j service in turn for taxes which benefit your com munity and help pay for the war. Taxes UR. . . . General cost of living UP. . . . You’d think cost of electric service would be up, too. But it j isn’t. It has even come down a little since the war began. Actually— The average family gets about twice as much elec tricity tor its money today as it did fifteen years ago! This welcome fact comes from the careful planning and progressive spirit of America’s business-managed, self supporting electric companies. * Hear NELSON EDDY in "THE LLEr.TkjC HOUR" with Rob til I /.ttrbro.ior'l Orchestra.
