Work involves a variety of tasks in assisting
City Manager in updating, implementing, and
complying with human resources require
ments for the City. Duties include serving as
a technical resources to supervisors and em
ployees in the recruitment, selection, and ori
entation processes, handling fringe benefits
programs and issues, drafting and interpret
ing City personnel policies, maintaining the

ments. Independent judgment and initiative
are required in the performance of duties.
Graduation from two year college with major
in business, psychology, or related field and
some progressively responsible experience in
a human resources operation is preferred or
graduation from high school supplemented
by accounting or business course and consid
erable progressively responsible experience
in a human resources operation that pro
vides the required knowledge and skills; or
an equivalent combination of education and
experience will also be considered. Hiring
rate: $ 49,926 - $52,422
