He secured many good shipments of peaches, and will doubtless do well by our growers. Hughes who went from here to Charlotte, is with us again as operator at the depot. Mrs. Hughes, who is sick at her homo in Marion, will come as soon as she is able to travel; and while we are glad to have here again, it is to be regretted that bad health on the part of Mrs. Hughes compels their return.
