BYKERRINLAZ STAFF WRITER Although there aren’t any events sched uled for today, a week of exciting events is planned for Rampage ‘95. Sponsored by the Carolina Athletic Association, Homecoming week will com bine longstanding traditions with some new events created by the Homecoming com mittee. Because the Pit was previously reserved for today, the CAA could not hold an event. Titsday At noon in the Pit, the Homecoming queen finalists will introduce themselves to the public. “By (the candidates) briefly telling the public a little bit about themselves, stu dents will hopefully be able to main- a decision of who they think is most quali fied,” said Nikki Allen, Homecoming com mittee chairwoman. The six members of the Homecoming Court were selected by the CAA from a pool of 13 hopefuls. The winners will be crowned during the halftime parade at Saturday’s football gamp Those interested in tasting cuisines from several different countries and watching cultural performances should attend the Multicultural Festival at 5 p.m. in Catmichael Ballroom.
