NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED AT
THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL
In accordance with state and national law, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has established policies and
procedures that require access to full membership and participation in any student organization without regard to race,
color, religion, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, and except where allowed by law, gender.
Further, in order to fulfill requirements of law that the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill not aid or perpetrate
discrimination against any person by providing significant assistance to any organization which discriminates against any
student on the bases enumerated above, the University requires every institutionally sanctioned student organization to
file with the institution a statement of the organization's non-discrimination policy.
As of November 1, 2001, the organizations listed below have been officially recognized by the University administration
for the year ending September 30, 2002. Recognition is not granted unless the organization files with the Vice Chancellor
for Student Affairs, a statement of its non-discrimination policy. Any currently enrolled student may examine the state
ment on non-discrimination policy of any recognized student organization by applying at the Office of the Vice Chancellor
for Student Affairs.
Any currently enrolled student who applied for membership in any recognized student organization, was denied mem
bership, and believes the denial was based in whole or in part on his/her age, disability, national origin, race, color, relig
ion, sexual orientation, gender, or veteran status, should notify the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

will be notified of their status either by

cast member will be chosen from the
Triangle area is unknown. “It’s a com

James Auerbach, a partner at Yancey’s

on location would not only be fun but
also would be good for business.
“It’s a great way to expose the busi

A cafe that includes live entertain
