can be found in the extensive coflections of Wilson Library.
Wilson Library, one of the most beautiful buildings on cam
pus, is home to Special Collections and the Maps Collection.
Although many of the items in these collections are unique or
unusual, you don’t need special permission to come use

of the community. For hours, see www.lib.unc.edu/wilson, or
call 962-0114.
The Manuscripts Department offers millions
of manuscripts and thousands of photos, sound recordings,
and moving images. The Department includes the Southern
Historical Collection, the Southern Folklife Collection, the
General and Literary Manuscripts Collection, and the
University Archives.
