2 MONDAY, MARCH 20, 2006 ■ A man was arrested on sev eral drug-related charges Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that Robert Anthony Craig, 47, of 104 Louis Armstrong Court Apt A was arrest ed at 10:16 p.m. at 800 Pritchard Ave. Ext. Apt. A3 on charges of mis demeanor possession of marijuana, felony possession of crack cocaine, felony possession with intent to distribute cocaine and maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of selling or delivering cocaine. According to reports, Craig was remanded to the Orange County Jail on a $40,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court today. ■ A car ran into a window Friday at the Open Eye Cafe in Carrboro. Owner Scott Conary said that at about 9 a.m. a car crashed through the large front window of the cafe. Conary said that according to the police, the woman driving the car turned into the parking area and accelerated rather than breaking. “She successfully drove about three quarters of the car into the building,” Conary said. The store closed temporarily but was up and running again by Friday afternoon with wooden boards closing off the broken window. About 20 patrons were in the cafe at the time of the accident, Conary said, but everyone, includ ing the driver, was unharmed. The police report of the incident Puzzled about what to do this summer? Reports state that Lisa Renee Baldwin, 33, of 107 Creel St. was arrested at about 2 a.m. at Key Food Mart at 325 W. Rosemary St. Baldwin was taken to the Chapel Hill Police Department, processed, taken before the magistrate and then taken to the Orange County Jail on a SI,OOO secured bond, reports state. According to reports, Baldwin is scheduled to appear in court April 24. ■ A woman was arrested early Friday on charges of driving while impaired and felony drug pos session, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that Stacy Lynn Forrester, 22, of 325 Sonoma Way was stopped for speeding on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Airport Drive. After being stopped, Forrester was charged with driving while impaired, reports state. Police then searched her car and found .4 grams of cocaine, reports state. According to reports, Baldwin registered .11 on an Intoxylizer test and was transported to the Orange County Jail on a SSOO secured bond. ■ A UNC student was the vic tim of breaking and entering and larceny Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that a laptop computer valued at $1,400 was taken from her residence between 5 p.m. March 10 and 10 p.m. Friday. The incident is under further investigation. ■ A woman was arrested on charges of injury to real property Wednesday after she drove her car through a gate arm in front of the Ambulatory Care Center at UNC Hospitals, according to University police reports. Reports state that Czarina Janelle Clybum, 28, of Beckley, W. Va., was arrested at 9:38 a.m. According to reports, the park ing booth attendant witnessed her drive through the gate, get out of the car to move the broken gate arm out of the vehicle’s path, then get back into the vehicle and drive to the care center’s east entrance. Reports state that when officers arrived, the vehicle was running and locked, and Clybum was inside the eye clinic waiting area. After being brought before the magistrate, Clybum was released upon signing a written promise to appear in court April 10, reports state. Reports state that damage to the gate arm was estimated to be SIOO.
