Distribution: Nick and Sarah Hammonds ISN #10709436 ■ Efrain Ramos Trinidad, of 306 Estes Drive Extension, apart ment C 9, Carrboro, was arrested on charges of driving while impaired and not having a drivers license at 2:53 a.m. Monday at the inter section of Estes Drive and Halifax Road after he was seen driving on the wrong side of the road, accord ing to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state that Trinidad reg istered a .12 blood alcohol content on the Intoxilyzer test. ■ An outdoor rendezvous was disrupted by the authorities early Saturday, according to Carrboro police reports. An officer spotted a dark vehicle in the back of a parking lot at 515 S. Greensboro St., reports state. According to reports, the offi cer spotted two suspects behind the car and told them put their hands up. Instead, reports state, the pair jumped into the vehicle, and the driver turned the ignition. Reports state that the officer then drew his gun, at which point the subjects became “cooperative.” “The subjects advised that they were at that location to have sex,” reports state. The incident ended when the officer told the two to leave.
