Bradley Beckham Copeland, 20, of 221 Mclver Residence Hall, and David Allen Bemgartt, 18, of 331 Hinton James Residence Hall, admitted to using and possessing marijuana and drug parapherna lia after an officer received a call about an odor of marijuana in the building, reports state. Wilmington was seen by an officer running a red light. The officer discovered that Davis had a suspended driver’s license and an outstanding warrant in Durham for failure to appear in court, reports state. He was placed under the custody of the Durham Police Department. ■ A juvenile was cited for resisting arrest and served with a trespass warning Wednesday morning in the Porthole parking lot, according to University police reports. The juvenile, 15, was seen tak ing property from a vehicle in the lot by an officer. He fled briefly on foot but then was captured. The Chapel Hill Police Department was contacted since the vehicle was in city limits, reports state. ■ A UNC student driver struck a pedestrian Tuesday on Ridge Road, University police reports state. The officer arriving on the seen observed the pedestrian laying in the roadway next to the vehicle, complaining of a hurt leg, reports state. The driver said she stopped at the stop sign and looked both ways before attempting to proceed into a left turn onto Country Club Road. The driver said she did not see the pedestrian, reports state. Tlie vehicle struck the pedestri an's right knee, reports state. The pedestrian stated that the driver looked right at her. The pedestrian, a UNC student assistant, was transported to UNC Hospitals for treatment. The driver was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way, reports state. ■ Three men were arrested after a fight broke out at 3:11 a.m. Thursday at 108 Henderson St., Chapel Hill police reports state. Angel Luis Richardson, 19, of Durham was arrested on charg es of affray and resisting arrest, reports state. He was placed under a SI,OOO secured bond. Daniel Jeremy Singh Davis, 24, of Durham was arrested on charg es of affray and resisting arrest, according to reports. He was placed under a SSOO secured bond. Douglas Robert Cantelmo, 26, of Apex was arrested on charges of affray and placed under a SSOO unsecured bond. All three men are scheduled to appear in District Criminal Court on May 8.
