Franklin St., Chapel Hill police reports state. Reports state Bashlor was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, public consumption and an open container violation. Animal Planet aired a tribute to him Tuesday after he was killed by a stingray Monday. Discovery’s headquarters in Silver Spring, Md., soon will be home to “The Steve Irwin Sensory Memorial Garden.” Discovery also will create the Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter Fund to support wildlife conservation, Irwin’s zoo in Beerwah, Australia, and the education of his children, Bindi, 8, and Bob, 2.
