Jamie Hanson said her specially trained dog, Jesse, brought her both the phone and her artificial leg after her cat knocked a candle onto artificial plants in her home. Hanson said it was too hot to put on her prosthetic leg, but that the dog came to her aid. She said Jesse heard the cat inside and went back into the house to save it. Both pets died in the fire.
