A student at Columbia University has designed a plan to make some money: Get hitched. The student married a woman with whom he has no romantic relationship —and who is actually in a rela tionship with another man— to prove he was finan cially independent from his parents and thus get more financial aid, the Columbia Spectator reported. Though he took out more than $25,000 in loans this year, his marriage saved him SII,OOO in financial aid. NOTED. Tori Spelling is planning to tell it all. The pregnant former Beverly Hills 90210 star is planning to write her memoirs, People, com reported Monday. POLICE LOG ■ Robert Lee Prince, 53, of 110 Main St., was arrested at 3:12 a.m. Monday on charges of breaking and entering and larceny, Chapel Hill police reports state. Police found Prince at a park ing lot at 124 W. Rosemary St. after he broke into Light Years, at 121 E. Franklin St., through the front window and stole two pieces of jewelry, valued at $252 each, reports state. According to reports, the jew elry was found on his person, and he was arrested and secured at Orange County Jail in lieu of SIO,OOO bail. Prince was scheduled to appear Monday in District Criminal Court in Hillsborough, reports state. ■ Two people were arrested on charges of assault at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Chapel Hill police reports state. Yvonne Watson, 49, was arrest ed at her home at 316 McMasters St. for assaulting her husband with a mirror.
