Love and basketball: UNC-Duke style
FROM STAFF AND WIRE REPORTS
It was love at first sight. At last week’s basketball game against Duke, a boy
met a girl. She was working at an ice cream stand, and the boy, John, helped
her stay up-to-date on the score of the game.
After the game, and with no phone number or e-mail address, the boy had
no way of getting in touch with her. Only her name. So he sent an e-mail to every
girl with her name. “ Io even - Danielle” he said in the e-mail, going on to explain his
quest to find the girl he met that night.
Exactly 50 Danielles got the e-mail, and though it took a few days, John said, he
finally found the Danielle from the Duke game.
Visit www.dailytarhcti.com to read the e-mail he sent.
