The North Carolina mens basketball team achieved a lot this season,
despite falling short of its ultimate goal.
Asa team, the Tar Heels notched a school-record 36 victories. They
won the ACC regular season and conference tournaments for the second
consecutive year. And they advanced to their 17th Final Four.
individually, UNC featured TVler Hansbrough the consensus
National Player of the Year. Wayne Ellington and Marcus Ginyard also
earned personal accolades, gamering second-team All-ACC and ACC
All-Defensive Team nods, respectively.
The following pictures depict UNC’s run through the NCAAs.
