‘Squirrelman’ forced from tree to RV
FROM STAFF AND WIRE REPORTS
A man who lived in a treehouse for two years was about to be evicted when
neighbors found anew place for him to live.
David “Squirrelman" Csaky, a self-taught carpenter, was given an RV to live
in as thanks for being a good neighbor, fellow Seattle residents said.
“It broke our hearts," said Brandon Ferrante, who found the 22-foot RV. “He’s taken
care of the neighborhood. We couldn’t sleep at night. We decided to make it happen."
Csaky, 52, lived about 30 feet above the ground on a 300-square-foot self-made
platform. He outfitted the treehouse with a tent, wood stove, three chairs, shelves
and a counter with an unplumbed sink. His pets include Lucky, a rat; Rainbow, a
ferret: and Tilt, a squirrel.
NOTED. The public order authority of an
Indonesian town is asking masseuses to pad
lock their skirts and pants to make it clear that
sex is not on offer, prompting outcry from the
country's women's affairs minister.
“It is not the right way to prevent promis
cuity." Nleutia Swasono told Jakarta Post. “It
insults women ... as if they are the ones in
the wrong."

Biologist David Bickford, comparing a
unique type of frog newly found in Indonesia to
a grotesque Star Wars character.
Bickford's team first noticed the frog was
strange- after it died when put in a bucket of water.
They cut it open to discover the frog has no lungs
at all. It breathes only through its skin.
