Incoming freshman class loses member Krvsti Bull ins dies at age 18 BY ASHLEY BENNETT STAFF WRITER As freshmen in the class of 2012 continue to attend orientation and gear up for their first semester at college, one of their fellow class mates w ill not have the chance to join them. Krystian "Krvsti" Bullins. 18. died the morning of July 7 at UNC Hospitals due to liver, kidney and respiratory failure. Bullins was a recent graduate of John Motley Morehead High School in Eden. She was close with her ninth grade English teacher and newspaper advisor of four years. Janet Ratliff. Even though Bullins missed much of her schooling due to her health problems. Ratliff said. “She was an excellent student, very-driv en and very motivated.* She added that not only did Bullins keep up herGPA while in the hospital, she was also president of her schools chapter of the National Honor Society, editor of her school newspaper and had dreams of becoming a pediatrician. “After all of her health problems and being in the hospital, she real ly wanted to work with children," Ratliff said. Ratliff also said that Bullins not only excelled in school, hut was also a "wonderful person." “Despite her health problems she always had a positive outlook, was always cheerful and wits always smiling." she said.
