Since Aug. 15, Hutson has been
strictly in charge of campaigning
for Pat McCrory at UNC.
Campaigning for a Republican
candidate in a liberal area has been
an uphill battle, Hutson said.
But McCrory has worked with
Democrats, Hutson said.
“I’ve really been trying to show
people that he can work with peo

approaching people who have been

Hiesday night, look to Florida for
early signs of who will be our next
president.
As the presidential race enters
its final days, Republican presi
dential candidate Sen. John
McCain’s best chance for a come
back rests in voter turnout.
To win, he must win nearly all
the remaining undecided voters
in key swing states and peel a
large chunk of “soft” supporters
from Democratic presidential
