The fol. towing is a summary of the Democrat's totton crop specials : Alabama Reports from a number of points indicate the crop to be abdut 86 per cent, of that of last year. The weather has been very wet and unfavor able for picking. Aboutj one-half of the trop has been marketed. Picking will be over by November 10, Arkansas The yield of that of last year, or is 63 per. cent. 43 per cent, of the average crop. Picking will be i finished by December 1. Florida The yield is that of last year's crop. 72 per cent, of The weather is favorable for picking, which will be over by November 15. One half the crop &s been marketed. Georgia- The weather Is favorable for picking. An average J Crop will be gathered. Picking willj be over by No vember 15. . Louisiana The yield is 58 per cent of last yeat's crop. The weather is wet and unfavorable for picking, .which .wil be over by November 15. ! i Mississippi The feU is 77 per cent, oftast year's crop, but is better than was expected. The weather is very wet, in terfering greatly with picking. Picking will be over by November 15th. About 80 per cent, of the crop has been gath ered. ' - Tennessee The yield is 50 per cent, of; last year's crop. Three-eighths of the crop has been marketed. Picking Will be over by November 20th. Texas -The yield is about 58 percent.
