She was sitting in front cf the fire when her dress ignited, and in a short time she was enveloped in flames. Her hus band, who had been confined to his toed for seme time, sprang to her assistance, but was so -weak that he fell and. re ceived a painful wound on his head. Mrs. Yates ran out of the door and was met by her son, who succeeded in put ting ou't the flames. In doing so he Was severely burned about the hands and face.
