The street car company has made great prepara tions to handle the crowds, and, with an uD-todate railroad and street car ser- vice, augmented by-'hundreds or puonc vehicles and eqrapages, the transporta tion accommodations will be all that can be destrvd. Notable among these will be a splendid football contest between the A. and M. College of Virginia (Blaeksburg) and the A. and M. .College of North Carolina on Friday. Both colleges have strong teams and the game has been secured, at great ex pense. The game will be played on the grounds watihou't any extra charge to visitors. . The musical program will be all nght. Every one will recall the hne parade last year. The people-who were repre sented were as well pleased as the spec tators, for thev saw at once how capital ly they were advertising .themselves. Well, this year's narade . will be both bigger, and better than the last one. The Fair will also be bigger and better, so everything is in harmony. The chief marshal . of the industrial parade will be rnat hustling young busi nes man, Joe K. Marshall, and he will have an excellent assistant in the person of Dalon Strouach. , The starting place of the parade will be Fayetteville street in front of the Centennial school. There will be a new feature this time and this also will be an object-lesson. Following the floats, and as section of the procession, will be the city's street cleaning and sanitary department, with sixteen vehicles in line, headed by Dr. Sale and his assistant, James Jor dan. All the vehicles will be painted, and the drivers will be in white, the reg- THE RACING PRO'S HAITI AN ATTRACTIVE ONE The liberal purses offered for the racing contests have attracted some -of the finest horses in the country.
