THE STREET FAIR AND CARNIVAL The Biautiful Crystal Palace Where the Glass-blowers Art is Exploited "Wonderful and beautiful processes will bo demonstrated at the carnival. Inr structures wherein the gl&ssblow- er tolls, very little is known of his nonderful art and the mystic processes by which he moulds and blow ie molten crystal Into the most beautiful of articles of everyday use anu la mentation. It Is to open this sealed book to the public, to ret every one see these secret means and enjoy the most fascinating sights of a life time that the great Gasklll-Mundy-Levitt Carnival Company, which has been es pecially engaged for the coming carni val in this city, has with a wonderful crystal palace therein the g!assblow er"s art is fully exploited and every visitor is presented with a pretty fcou venlr of the artistic craft. Inside the great paTillon the molten glass glows and glimmers, while through its very depth glitters vari-colored hues like the heart of an opal. A long tube is thrust Into the molten mass and drawn forth with a globule of glass on the end. The deft worker at the other end begins steadily blowing his life breath into the heart of the glowing bubble and then the most beautiful -translucent changes of coloring begin. It changes from white to gold then by degrees to the most brilliant shades of green, violet, pink, blue and yellow. Gradually it sinks into a bright orange shade which deepens and flashes like a fiery topaz and finally cools away into purest crystal shape, moulded and blown during these prismatic changes into a handsome goblet, a dainty wineglass, a shapely vase or some oth er pretty article. The beauty of the process is simply Indescribable and the gifts which are given to the -visitors are the things made before their, very eyes. This is one of the most inter esting and ' instruvtire features ever seen on any midway and will doubtless be one of the best patronized. . It is something entirely new, in keeping with all the other new and novel fea tures of the aggregation. ' ADIES! $500 REWARD JKSiSKJiSSSlr. in- tTT from nr c.uae. my monthly rvgn it. i ft rellev.
