Los Angeles, Cal., April 11 Since last Tuesday there have been between forty and fifty earthquake shocks in Pico Canon, near Newhall. Pico Canon is in the Sanfernando Mountains and is the center of the oil regions. (Special) James Q Griffin, editor of the Western Free Lance, was arrested on a bench warrant for libel cn complaint of J. L C. Bird, Eq, of Marion, Saturday, and at Lenoir Monday gave bond for $2,000 before Judge James D. Mclver for his ap pearance at the next term of Mc Dowell Superior Court.
