' Death of Mr.W; P. Collins. . Mr. W. F Collins, formerly erf this city, died in Greets, S. C.Aug. 17, after a short illness. :. He was "forty six years of age, and was a son- of J. A. Collins, who was a merchant and printer in Warrenton and Het derson before' the war. He was married twice, his first wife being Miss Helen Adams, daughter of the late Lynn Adams, Esq., who left four children. He had three brothers and one sister Mrs. George Wright, of Vance county and numerous rela tives throughout the State. His last wife survives him. The sheriff has received schedule "B" tax book from the Register of Deeds. And thinks it a good time for the merchants and livery men to settle their taxes up to June 30th, ';H.
