Invitations were issued for the marriage of Jacob Lieffer to Miss Marian Post, both of this city. Each is about twenty two years of age. When the guests as sembled at the b: ide's home lust eve ning to witness the ceremony there was no bridegroom. Miss Post was attired in bridal array, but the groom came not. It was soon noticed that Miss Henrietta Post, a younger sister of the expected bride, was missing. While those present were discuss ing the situation young Lieffer and Mies Henrietta Post allighted from a carriage and entered the house, where they informed the parents and puests that-they had just been married. During the excitement preliminary to the intended marriage young Lief fer drove up iu a carriage, which Miss Post entered, and they then drove to Kingston Point cn the outskirts of the city. There is on exhibition in this city the pattern of the insole cf a pair of shoes made at Kakoka for a girl living at Rainbow, Mo The girl for whom these shoes were made is only seventeen years old, and is seven feet seven inches in height and weighs 235 pounds.
