Trusting.
THOMAS J. KACMORR1T.
Let my way be bright or gloomy
At I journey here,
I can always feel contented
With my Saviour near.
He h promised He will guide me
All along life's "way;
He will show me love and pity
Wbeu I faint or stray.
In the bygone years I've tested
His unbounded love;
Nor do I now fear to trust Him
As I onward move.
'Shall I doubt him, then, when sor
row
Comes into my heart T
Dare I say he does not love me,
When the tear drops start?
0, no other loves so fondly I
He is mv best friend:
From th first He Joved me, and will
iove me to tne end.
Then I'll go into the future
With a courace Rtronc!
Though the road be rough and thorny
xi wiii not De long.
Soon the glad, refulgent morning
Shall bring io the day,
And the undertone of sadness
Soon shall die away.
Then a song shall burst in gladness
On my list'ning ear, XtMS

He Married the Youngest Sister
Kingston, May 18. Invitations
were issued for the marriage of Jacob
Lieffer to Miss Marian Post, both of
this city. Each is about twenty two
years of age. When the guests as
sembled at the b: ide's home lust eve
ning to witness the ceremony there
was no bridegroom. Miss Post was
attired in bridal array, but the groom
came not. It was soon noticed that
Miss Henrietta Post, a younger sister
of the expected bride, was missing.
While those present were discuss
ing the situation young Lieffer and
Mies Henrietta Post allighted from a
carriage and entered the house, where
they informed the parents and puests
that-they had just been married.
During the excitement preliminary
to the intended marriage young Lief
fer drove up iu a carriage, which Miss
Post entered, and they then drove to
Kingston Point cn the outskirts of
the city. It is believed that the elder
daughter was cognizant of her sister's
intended elopement. The young wife
is only 14 years old.
