Walker, Durham; W. C Wilson; Thomas ville; E. D. Myers; Richmond, Va ; T. P. Boyles, Phila delphia. A Nuisance. There has been considerable com plaint of late about two colored beg gars who take their stand on Fayette ville street, and annoy persons pass ing by with importunities for alms One of these men is blind and the other considerably afflicted, and of course, are objects of sympathy. Not withstanding this it is not thought proper that they should be allowed to annoy the public. We learn that there is no authority on the part of our municipal officials, to arrest them or to prevent them from plying their vocation. The County Commi8sioners,however,have power to send the men to the poor or workhouse where they can be put at some kind of work. We learn from Mayor Thompson that he will address a letter to the Board of Commission ers next Monday requesting their ac tion in the premises. It certainly does not favorably impress the visi tor to our city, to see persons solici ting alms on our street corners. Important Transfer. Judge Winston yesterday issued or- . ders removing Chas.
