The well known and popular sum mer resort Seabright, on the coast of New Jersey was destroyed by fire on the night of the 10th. Four hun dred buildings were burned. A large portion ot tne town is reduced to ashes and several hundred families are rendered homeless. The loss is estimated at not less than 4500.000. i mm & mm Coal Dealers. Died iu a Solitary Orgie. J. C. C. Burnett who was appoint ed to a clerkship in the Census office at Washington, D. C, about a year ago was found dead on his bed in a room which he occupied alone, on Tuesday afternoon. Little Rock, Ark., June 15 Dr. John Clarke, of Waldo, had a terrible adventure last evening with a horse which had hydrophobia. Clarke had ridden the animal to visit a patient, anu was iiiiciung it to the mno ol a tree when the horse sprang upon him, knocking him down. The doctor succeeded in getting up and behind the tree, but the horse followed him and chased him round and round the tree. Assistance ar rived just when Clarke was ready to sink from exhaustion, and the horse was shot. Philadelphia Record.
