The Baptist Female University
A number of citizens attended the
called meeting of the Chamber of
Commerce last night for the purpose
of considering the matter of locating
the Kantist Female University. In
the absence of President Latta, Mr
R. H. Battle called the meeting to or
der and stated the object. Mr. W. N
Jones, in behalf of the committee,
appointed by the Baptists last week,
reported that they had made as care
ful a canvass as possible in so short a

where he examined the work of the
Eastern Building and Loan Associa
tion and will alrfo speak at the same
meeting.

the city. Miss Lena Kennedy of Sioux
Falls, South Dakota.
The eminent and brilliant perfomer
of instrumental music will render
some of her choice selections. The
meeting will be conducted by A. K.
Vincent and Rev J J Worlds.
