It is well gotten up and contains much interesting reading matter. Mr. T R. Puruell is the editor, and as he has had considerable experience in journalistic line, the North State will no doubt prove a success. All the evidence is through with in the McDougald trial at Fayetteville. and the case is being argued. There is much diversity of opinion as to the verdict, although the circumstantial evidence is very strong against the prisoner. It is that of the State vs. Zck Rhodes, a deputy marsha'l, who bhot and killed a moonshiner in Onslow county last spring.
