It has beou suggested In official cir cles that the property known as the 'Sorrell" plac; on South Wilmington street, opposle the market, would be an eligible and convenient site for a new station house. We do not know, of course, what the property would cost.or whether it could be purchased, bat we concur In the idea of the fit ness of the place for the purpose in dicated. As heretofore stated, we believe a good station house could be erected with but very little cost to the city- It is certainly much needed A complete line ,of tobaccos. We carry a large stock of the popular Drands, such as Nosegay, Plug Hat, Eu GbuiMe" Waverly, Too Loo and Harris Best. At 0. O. Ball & Co.'s Brought Back John T. The Railroad Commission yeeter day, had a most important matter under consideration, known as the Deaver case. Deaver asserts that the Richmond & Dunville Railroad had deprived him of a two thousand mile ticket, a portion of whi?h had not been used. It was showed in evidence that Deaver's son in law had used the ticket upon which the conduc tor declared the ticket forfeited. The case was dismissed. Geuerous Donation.
