Now let us add a new station house and a new city clock. Death of Joseph Perry, Esq. It is with deep regret that we note the death of this gentleman which took place at his residence on the Avent Ferryfroad, last night at 10:S0 o'clock after a long and painful sick- ) ness. He leaves a widow, numerous children and a large circle of relations and friends to mourn their loss. Mr. Perry was aged about , 60 and had for a long series of years been identified as machinist with the Ral eigh and Gaston Railroad. He was a member of the Relief Association of the Raleigh and Gaston Railroad. The funeral will take place tomor row afternoon at 8.80 o'clock from the First Baptist church.
